Below you can find a list of every SMW romhack I’ve logged so far! I’ve tried my best to roughly sort them by difficulty, however that is not an easy task for a number of reasons: The difficulty of a lot of hacks widely differs depending on whether you make a straight run for the final boss or try to beat every exit. Others expect you to have a deep understanding of how the vanilla game mechanics work and interact with each other, which might be easy to grasp for someone experienced, but can be quite confusing for a newcomer. There are also a number of hacks that feature involved puzzles, and rating the difficulty of those can be rather subjective. Nevertheless, the list below might give you a basic first impression which hacks you might be interested in checking out. I've marked hacks that I particularly enjoyed and would call some of my favorites with an asterisk.
